My Eulogy to my Fathers Passing (unfinished draft still holding in my heart)

Before I begin I would like to thank all of you here on behalf of my mother, my brother and sisters for your efforts large and small to be here today, to help us mark my fathers passing. I am honored to be here to speak to you all and I am honored to be here to speak to you about my father.

I want to start my eulogy to my father with one of my favorite quote “ Life is 10% of what happens to you, and 90% of how you react to it. My relationship with my father did not start well. It is because he don’t want to pay for my tuition fee for school. It was my grandfather Mamay Isidro who enroll me to high school and I have to working student just to finish college. I started questioning his love for me apart from he is a disciplinarian. But later down the road, I was able to realize that his tough love communicates something – developing my resilience, determination and take me to lead. That was connecting the dot. I felt jealous-

He had a profound impact on the life I live today and on the person I became.

He told carry on

He never turned his back on my when I get pregnant when I was 19. I can vivid recall when you prepare good soup for me and have fought for me after that downturn of my life -

At least I was given the chance to dance with my father on my wedding day in Saipan in June 2005.

At least my daughters had the chance to see how caring

Although I am going to miss your caldereta and your excitement when I saw you at the arrival area at the international airport and your good byes on when you are dropping us to departure area-

My father leave a legacy

I discover something about him,

We has a lot of friends

My father is a cheerful person, he loves you in silence.

I will continue your legacy -

Rest assured Tatay, we will take care of Inay, I will always be the big sister of my siblings George, Jenny, Joy and Gilbert. Your commitment to service will leave on and

And I know you have lived your life, the sneak eating chicharron and cigarettes

In the blink of an eye, everything can change. So forgive often and love with all your heart. You may never know when you may not have that chance again.

Thanking God almighty for the many chances and for our Father Pedro’s new life. Giving back all the glory and honor -
